The current conventional wisdom is that Senator Obama has just about won the Democratic nomination. His recent primary and caucus victories across the country have given him the aura of the inevitable. And, as I had written before, that prospect should cheer every Democrat because Senator Obama has consistently run better than Senator Clinton in just about every poll in head-to-heads with John McCain. But I'm not convinced that Senator Obama will be our nominee. Based on what I see in the most recent polls, I believe that Senator Clinton will win the nomination. And she won't need any messy ugly fights over Florida or Michigan to win over the uncommitted delegates.
